scrapbooking vs. organizing

This is one of my biggest challenges in scrapbooking. I have way too much scrapbooking stuff and I can't find what I need, when I need it. So then I think I need to organize....and then I think I need something to organize with.....then I think waht a waste to buy something so I can organzie stuff that surely I will use up and not have anymore and not need the something I bought to organize it to begin with.

And my pictures set lonely and unlooked at in there box. By the way, they are organized! And by the way, I worried about buying too many boxes cause when all my photos are in albums, I'm not going to need all those photo boxes either...but I guess I'll deal with that when I get to that point. Which won't be soon.

Way's I have tried to organize..

I tried putting everything together by theme, stickers, die cuts, pre-made stuff that was all spring, summer...you get the picture. Don't like this idea

Then I go a re-sort by type of stuff. All stickers, all die cuts, all Jollee's etc. then I forget I have something for a specific theme and don't use it when I should.

So now, I have stopped scrapbooking in chornological order and I'm pulling out photo's that go with what I have.......we will see......so far I have got 14 pages completed in this way.

I'm sure I'll get tired or frustrated with this idea too.

I just feel like I have a MESS!
